Dr. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, hosted Dr. Rita Victoria Harencsár, the Ambassador of Hungary, to discuss strengthening academic and scientific cooperation. The meeting, also attended by Vice President Dr. Tarek Ghalwash, focused on enhancing partnerships with Hungarian universities through joint research, shared degree programs, scholarships, and student/faculty exchanges.
 
During the discussion, Dr. Khater affirmed the university's commitment to its internationalization strategy. Ambassador Harencsár praised Mansoura University's distinguished status and noted the historically strong, and growing, academic ties between Egypt and Hungary. Dr. Ghalwash also emphasized the university's strategy of building international partnerships to create an integrated research environment.
 
Following the meeting, Dr. Ghalwash led the ambassador's delegation on a comprehensive tour to showcase the university's advanced capabilities. The tour included visits to:
- The Mansoura University Vertebrate Paleontology Center
- Urology and Nephrology Center
- The (Entlaq) Company for Technology and Entrepreneurship
 
The visit concluded with the Ambassador participating in the 3rd Scientific Excellence Celebration at the Faculty of Law, reinforcing the embassy's support for academic excellence at the university.
