The Union for the Mediterranean (UfM) has launched the Second UfM Student Competition 2025 under the theme:
“Urban Solutions to Climate Change in the Mediterranean.”
Who can apply
Egyptian students enrolled in architecture, urban design, or urban planning programmes (undergraduate or graduate) during 2023/2024 or 2024/2025 — individually or in teams of up to five members.
The challenge
Design innovative, resilient, and sustainable urban solutions that respond to the climate challenges faced by Mediterranean cities, including heat waves, water scarcity, coastal flooding, and rapid urbanization.
Prizes

1st Prize: €5,000

3rd Prize: €2,000

Winning teams will be invited to Barcelona for the award ceremony (travel covered).
