Harrison Middleton University (HMU) is offering a unique, nine-month virtual fellowship for recent graduates interested in the humanities and interdisciplinary dialogue.

The HMU Fellowship in Ideas is a writing and discussion project designed for emerging scholars from any field. It offers a chance to engage deeply with the great ideas of Western civilization, network with academicians, and gain professional enrichment.

Over the course of the nine-month program, Fellows will:

This fellowship is open to applicants who:

Applicants must submit the following:

  1. A completed application form.

  2. A biographical statement (max 500 words) detailing your background and interest in the fellowship.

  3. An expository essay (max 1500 words) on a "great idea" in the humanities.
