Activities of the Postgraduate and Envoys Day at Mansoura University

Within the framework of the celebration of the Golden Jubilee of Mansoura University under the slogan “An ancient history and a promising future”, the postgraduate and Research /cultural affairs at the university organized , Wednesday, March 16, 2022 the “The Postgraduate and Envoys Day” under the patronage of Dr. / Mostafa Madbouly - the Prime Minister and the leadership of Professor Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset - President of Mansoura University.
In the presence of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Bayoumy Shehab el den - former President of Mansoura University, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Tarek Hafez - Vice President for postgraduate and Research /cultural affairs, Prof. Dr .Magda Nasr - Former Vice President for postgraduate and Research /cultural affairs, a number of the university deans , Prof. Dr .Naoko Fakumi - Director of JSPS Japan, Prof.Dr .Azza Ismail - former Dean of the Faculty of Science and Director of the University’s Tyco Office .
The event was presented by Dr. Nashwa Ibrahim - Assistant Professor of Community Health at the Faculty of Nursing, Mansoura University, and the Coordinator of the Envoys support office at the university, Dr. Rania El-Taby Lecturer of analytical chemistry at the Faculty of Science, Mansoura University and coordinator of the Envoys support office
And in the presence of Dr. Amr Mowafy - Director of the Envoys support office at Mansoura University, Dr. Hamdy Hosny, Dr. Ahmed Hussein and Dr. Mohamed El-Sherbiny - coordinators at the Envoys support office, Dr. Mona El-Hadidi - General Coordinator of Postgraduate Studies at the university, Dr. Mohamed El-Refay - supervisor of the International Relations Office, Dr. Mona El-Helaly- Director of the International Classification Office at the University, Dr. Amr Awad - Research Coordinator at the University, Dr. Amr Gabr - Director of the University’s Patentability of invention Office, Mr. Osama Moussa - Secretary General of the University and the Assistant Secretaries of the University, a number of faculty members , a number of Egyptian and non-Egyptian graduate students at the university.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Tarek Hafez praised the efforts made by the members of the Envoys support office at Mansoura University in organizing the activities of Postgraduate and Envoys Day . he demanded the need to constantly mention to the grants offered to researchers from international universities and He believes that the goal of foreign missions is to enable the envoy to acquire skills and knowledge and then transfer them to his university after returning from abroad.
Prof. Naoko Fakumi expressed her happiness to be at the prestigious Mansoura University during its celebration of its golden jubilee.
Prof. Dr. Tarek Ghallush, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, Mansoura University, stressed that the continuous development of the labor market requires the development of skills for the contemporary economy. He added that The faculty of Commerce allows its graduates and graduates of other faculties to study a Professional Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Professional Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA). He added that the professional study opens the fields of the labor market to its graduates by acquiring skills in different specializations, most notably marketing, financial analysis and human resource management.
Dr. Amr Mowafy indicated that the Envoys support office aims to introduce all types of programs and the required fields among Mansoura University affiliates by organizing periodic meetings and workshops, to overcome the obstacles facing the envoys before traveling during the study period and upon their return to the homeland, integrating returnees from Abroad by presenting them to the distinguished research centers at the university.
Prof.Dr Ahmed Heikal - the cultural attaché of the Egyptian Embassy in Canada and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Sergany - the cultural attaché of the Embassy of Egypt in Russia, through a recorded video, thanked Mansoura University, which they graduated from, for its support during their studies .
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Heikal talked about the grants offered by Canadian universities to Egyptian researchers and how to apply for them. He noted that 93 students from Mansoura University received grants during their university studies, and 75 of its graduates received grants to study in Canadian universities.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Sergany stated that 12 Egyptian students are studying in Russian universities, in addition to 135 PhD students there.
Dr. Abdel Rahman Hamdy,Lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy, talked about his experience in obtaining his PhD in organic chemistry in partnership with University of Le Mans, France.
A recorded videos was shown that included the words of a number of Mansoura University envoys abroad, in which they praised the university's support for them.
