Under the patronage of Prof. Cherif Khater, President of Mansoura University,
and the leadership of Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research,
Mansoura University has secured a fully funded project from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) for the period 2025–2028, titled:
"Designing a Master's Program in Sport Psychology for People with Disabilities at Mansoura University."

The project will span four years with a total funding of €400,000, and is part of the DAAD’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Program.

This program represents the first accredited Master's degree in Sport Psychology for People with Disabilities offered jointly by Martin Luther University and the University of Regensburg, and is also the first of its kind in both the Middle East and Germany.

It is also noteworthy that Prof. Dr. Amr Roshdy Saad had previously led another DAAD-funded project (2021–2023), aimed at developing sports for people with disabilities at Mansoura University. That initiative enabled 48 faculty members and their assistants to travel to Martin Luther University in Germany to participate in specialized workshops.
