Announcement of a Drug Manufacturing Project at the 4th International Conference of the Faculty of Pharmacy

During the events of the 4th International Conference of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Prof. Cherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, announced the university's plans to establish a drug manufacturing Project in partnership with Leading pharmaceutical companies. This facility will serve as a training center for pharmacy students from universities in the Delta region, providing practical training in pharmaceutical manufacturing and applied research. The Project will produce medications using the best technological techniques to enhance the quality of Egyptian pharmaceutical products and increase their competitiveness at local and global levels.

Prof. Tarek Ghalwash emphasized the importance of enhancing scientific research and innovation in the field of pharmacy, stating that the results of research in this area seek to improve individuals' lives, which is the goal of nations and societies. He mentioned that the Postgraduate Studies Sector has initiated a collaboration project between the university and industry in the field of applied scientific research. There are innovative scientific studies that require pathways for manufacturing to improve the quality of life for citizens, which is the goal Mansoura University aims to achieve.

Prof. Manal Eid explained that the Faculty of Pharmacy has recently focused on establishing a Drug Manufacturing Research Center, which includes three specialized laboratories serving applied research and linking the university with industry. This is considered a national project and a qualitative leap for scientific research within the faculty. 

Prof. Khaled Beshir highlighted the faculty's key achievements in recent years, pointing to the diversity of specialized programs and its commitment to preparing graduates with the latest educational systems. He showcased the faculty's excellence and its ranking among the top in global rankings in recent years, as well as the distinguished scientific research of its scholars and researchers, which has contributed to raising the faculty's international ranking.
