The Government of Brunei Darussalam is providing scholarships to the students who are interested in pursuing graduate and postgraduate degrees from the University of Brunei Darussalam, Islam Sultan Sharif Ali university, and Brunei Institute of Technology, these scholarships are awarded to the students belonging to ASEAN, OIC, Commonwealth Member Countries, the scholarship includes only tuition fees which do not include accommodation or other related expenses.

The award is given to the selected students who are interested in pursuing graduate and post-graduate degree from the University of Brunei Darussalam, Islam Sultan Sharif Ali university, and Brunei Institute of Technology, Number of scholarships are not specified.
Value of award:
It is a partially funded scholarship where it includes tuition fees only but does not include any related expenses.
The following are the criteria that the contesting candidate should possess to apply for Brunei Darussalam Government for Foreign Students 2024-25, an additional accommodation at the respective institution residential college is provided, if the scholar wishes not to live in the provided accommodation, no additional allowance will be given in concern of board and transport.
Age limit:
Candidates should have an age limit between 18 – 25 for undergraduate, 35 for postgraduate, as prescribed in the application form candidates should go through the notification before applying.
Nationality
The students belonging to countries of ASEAN, OIC, Commonwealth Member Countries but not limited to these countries alone, with all eligible criteria are eligible to apply for the scholarship.
Application procedure to apply for Brunei Darussalam Government (BD) Scholarship 2024-25
Documents required:
The following are the required criteria to apply for:
- security clearance statement from their National Security Agency or Police Station as proof of statement or report certifying that applicants are clear from any civil and criminal charges.
- The candidate should take a written examination to assess the applicant’s proficiency in the English/ Malay/ Arabic Language.
- The application form is to be submitted along with the documents mentioned above through e-mail through the official website.
