Brunei Government Scholarship 2024

The Brunei Darussalam Scholarship 2024 is an excellent opportunity for students who want to pursue higher education in one of the Asian countries. The fully funded Brunei Darussalam Scholarships are offered to pursue undergraduate, diploma and postgraduate programs in Brunei. All international students fulfilling the requirements and criteria can apply for the Brunei Government Scholarship. The Brunei Darussalam Ministry of Affairs funds these fully funded scholarships for international students.

Eligibility Criteria for the Brunei Government Scholarship 2024:

  • Applicants must be international students.
  • Students from all countries can apply.
  • Students must be at most 25 years old if they are applying for the undergraduate or diploma program.
  • International students must be under 35 years old by July 2024 for the postgraduate degree program.
  • Applicants must not be permanent residents of Brunei Darussalam.
  • Students must not get support from any other grant, scholarship or academic award.
  • Applicants must be proficient in English. Must have an IELTS score of 6.0 or a TOEFL minimum score of 550.
  • The fully funded scholarship is specifically for international students who are studying for the first time in Brunei Darussalam.

  • Benefits of Brunei Darussalam Scholarship 2024:

    • Successful students will get a 100% university tuition fee exemption.
    • Economy class air tickets for international travel from the student’s country to Brunei will be provided.
    • BND $500 will be provided as a monthly allowance.
    • BND $150 will be provided as a monthly meal allowance.
    • Students will receive a yearly book allowance of approx. BND $600.
    • Free accommodation will be provided.
    • Students will also get baggage allowance, according to this:
    1. Living in a country within the ASEAN region will get BND$250.00 or
    2. Living in a country outside the ASEAN region will get BND$500.00
    • Comprehensive health insurance for the duration of the scholarship.
