CERN Openlab Summer Student Program 2024 in Switzerland

CERN Openlab Summer Student Program 2024 is a fully-funded summer internship program in Switzerland. The CERN Openlab program is open for bachelor’s and master’s level students specialising in computer science subjects. The CERN research internship program is a fantastic opportunity for international students from all over the world. Students will experience the world’s most complex, innovative and largest scientific instruments. This internship at CERN will help the students to quench their need to gain advanced knowledge. Furthermore, students will get insights into the fundamental laws of nature. The Summer Internship duration is two months (nine weeks). So the students will spend two months in Europe for free. Eligibility Criteria for the CERN Openlab Summer Student Program 2024:

• Students from all over the world are eligible to apply of all nationalities can apply for this summer student programme.
• Applicants must be Bachelor’s or Master’s students (not PhD) with a strong computing (IT) profile or related fields.
• Applicants should have completed at least six semesters of full-time studies at the university level by the European Summer 2024.        
• Applicants must remain registered as a student during their stay at CERN. If the students are expected to graduate during European summer 2024 (as of May), they are also eligible to apply.
• Applicants must have not worked at CERN before with any other status (Trainee, Technical Student, User, or other status) for more than three months, and they have not been previously a Summer Student at CERN.
• Applicants must have a good knowledge of English; knowledge of French will be a plus point.
