Activities of "Children's University Forum 2022"
Mansoura University organized, within the framework of its golden jubilee celebration, Sunday, February 20, 2022, the "Children's University Forum 2022" under the patronage of Dr. / Mostafa Madbouly - Prime Minister And the leadership of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdel Baset, President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Saqr, President of the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.
In the presence of Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdel Baset - President of Mansoura University, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Tarek Hafez, Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Research /cultural affairs, Prof. Dr. Magda Nasr - Former Vice President for postgraduate Studies and Research /cultural affairs, Prof. Dr. Azza Ismail - former Dean of the Faculty of Science and Director of the University’s Tyco Office, a number of deans of the university’s faculties participating in the Children’s University project, Dr. Amr Gabr - Coordinator of the Children’s University Project at Mansoura University, and the project team. Mr Osama Moussa the Secretary general of the University, and Assistant university secretaries , students of the Children’s University and their parents.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Abdel Basset indicated that this forum aims to introduce the Children's University project and announce the launch of training activities.
He noted that the Children's University Forum organized within the framework of the cooperation protocol between the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology and Mansoura University, which aims to spread the spirit of scientific research and develop innovative capabilities of childrens for a better future for them.
Prof. Dr. Ashraf Tarek Hafez stressed the importance of the Children's University project in developing students' skills and knowledge which help them to determine their field of university studies in the future. He mentioned the start of the study for 270 new students will be next summer. He called for more publicity for the project in Dakahlia Governorate to maximize benefit from it.
Dr. Amr Gabr stated that during the forum, the childrens will have the chance to express their opinions through dialogue sessions aimed to raise their potential ,and trying to propose the most appropriate solutions to them by discussing three axes: online education, nutrition and children's health, children's behavior and bullying..
Mrs Mona Hosni Ismail gave a speech on behalf of the parents of the students of the Children’s University project, she expressed her gratitude for the efforts of the university professors participating in the project in providing the childrens with skills at a young age and encouraging them to choose the appropriate faculty.
