This program offers scholarships to residents in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region to obtain Google Career Certificates in the following fields:

  • Project Management
  • Data Analytics
  • UX Design

  • Cybersecurity
  • Business Intelligence

Grow with Google and Coursera are offering a unique learning opportunity to help empower those living in the MENA region to be more successful in every phase of their professional journeys. The courses are available on Coursera, a world-class learning platform that provides a transformative learning experience that will empower you to compete for a job or thrive at your current job. Each Google Career Certificate covers several courses, requires several months to complete, and does not require a previous degree or experience to be completed. The courses follow a hands-on, practical approach.

All courses are available in English and require a B1 Level of English to be completed. Some certifications are also available in other languages such as Arabic and French such as Google Project Management, Google IT Support, Google UX Design, and Google Data Analytics. For these courses, the video modules remain in English, subtitled in Arabic or French. In addition, the course instructions, readings, and transcripts are also translated into Arabic or French.

Applicants must be:

  1. Above 18 years of age
  2. Currently residing in one of the following MENA countries: Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates
  3. Willing to commit to completing a certification under the scholarship.
