ILACE 2024 Call for Proposals

The British Council in partnership with the American University are pleased to announce the tenth International Language Assessment Conference in Egypt (ILACE 2024), taking place on September 6th –7th, 2024.
While proposals related to any aspect of language assessment are welcome, the conference organisers are particularly interested in proposals related to the following topics:
• The ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in testing and assessment
• Innovative applications of AI tools in testing and assessment
• Learning-oriented assessment
• Educator and stakeholder assessment literacy
• Accessibility and inclusivity in assessment
• Holistic assessment and learners’ wellbeing
• Assessing young learners
Please join them in celebrating ten years of ILACE by sharing your expertise and experience at this year’s conference! To submit a proposal for ILACE 2024, please use the ILACE 2024 Proposal Submission form.
The deadline for proposal submission is June 1st, 2024 (11:59 PM CLT).
