𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗮 𝗩𝗣 𝗚𝗵𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗔𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝘆𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀

Professor Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President of Mansoura University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, today participated in the reception hosted by Professor Cherif Khater, President of the University, for Mr. Ismail Al-Hadi Obeid, the Cultural and Academic Attaché at the Embassy of the State of Libya in Cairo. The meeting was held to discuss ways to enhance mutual cooperation and follow up on the affairs of Libyan students enrolled at the university.
 
Attendees included: Dr. Al-Mu'tasim Billah Al-Bahrawy, General Supervisor of the International Students Administration, along with the Deputy Supervisors: Dr. Shaimaa Abdel Wahab and Dr. Ahmed Salah, as well as the International Students Office administration, Mr. Mohamed El-Naggar, Dr. Alia Mekkeya, and Dr. Alaa El-Garhy, Director General of Postgraduate Studies. Attending from the Libyan side were Dr. Mahmoud Shehata, Head of the Supervision Department at the Cultural Attaché, and Ms. Ambraka Said, an employee of the Supervision Department.
 
At the start of the meeting, Dr. Cherif Khater welcomed the Libyan delegation, emphasizing the deep fraternal relations between the Egyptian and Libyan peoples and the extensive cooperation in educational, cultural, and scientific fields. He affirmed Mansoura University's commitment to supporting academic cooperation with Libyan institutions and providing comprehensive care for Libyan students within the university, including educational services, administrative support, and academic supervision.
 
For his part, Mr. Ismail Al-Hadi Obeid expressed his delight at visiting Mansoura University, stressing his appreciation for the distinguished role the university plays for Libyan students and the integrated educational and service environment it provides. He noted that Egyptian-Libyan relations are deeply rooted, extending over a long history of fraternal ties, and affirmed that Egypt remains the 'Elder Brother' to all Arab nations, with Mansoura University being a leading educational destination highly esteemed by the Libyan side due to its strong academic programs and advanced services for international students.
 
For his part, Dr. Tarek Ghalwash stressed the importance of developing cooperation pathways specifically in the fields of Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research. He noted the University's readiness to support Libyan students in their various programs and to provide the necessary facilities to ensure they achieve the highest academic standards.
 
The meeting covered several topics related to Libyan students in both the undergraduate and postgraduate stages, including academic follow-up mechanisms, the facilities provided to them, and proposals to improve administrative support and university services, all within the framework of the continuous good relations and cooperation between the two sides.
