Mansoura University Vice President Receives Delegation from TH Köln to Discuss Academic Cooperation

Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research at Mansoura University, received Prof. Lars Ribbe from TH Köln (University of Applied Sciences) in Germany at his office on the morning of Saturday, October 18, 2025.

The visit aimed to hold a specialized workshop to introduce the interdisciplinary Master's program in "Integrated Water Resources Management" and the iWater project, which is the result of a collaboration between Mansoura University, Ain Shams University, and TH Köln.

The meeting and workshop were attended by Prof. Sherif El-Badawy, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and the agreement coordinator for Mansoura University; Dr. Hassan Abou El-Naga, the agreement coordinator for TH Köln; and Prof. Mohamed Gar Al-Alam, Director of the International Relations Office.

During the meeting, Prof. Tarek Ghalwash affirmed Mansoura University's commitment to strengthening international academic partnerships and developing distinguished academic programs. He stated that these programs are crucial for enhancing researchers' skills and providing them with global expertise, aligning with modern scientific trends and boosting the competitiveness of the university's graduates in both local and international job markets.
