Mansoura Medical Journal has been established since 1970 as a print journal, in 1988it was registered with the World Health Organization (WHO). In 2020, it was converted into an electronic journal through the Egyptian knowledge Bank (EKB) and published electronically and in a paper format. In December 2022, Mansoura Medical Journal has migrated from EKB to the Digital Commons (DC) system by Elsevier.
