Mansoura University Explores Collaboration Opportunities with Kent State University

Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research at Mansoura University, met with Ms. Jameela Abdullah, the Education Representative of Kent State University in Ohio, United States. The meeting was attended by Prof. Amina El-Nemr, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing; Dr. Mohamed El-Refaey, Director of the Office of International Relations;Dr. Marwa Hassan, Deputy Director of the Office of International Relations - Social and Humanities Sector - and Coordinator of the Cooperation Agreement with Kent State University; and Dr. Ahmed Hussein, Deputy Director of the Office of International Relations - Engineering Sciences Sector.

The purpose of this meeting was to discuss collaboration opportunities between the two universities in the areas of developing undergraduate and graduate programs, exchange of visits for faculty and students, training activities, and scientific research.

Ms. Jameela also visited "Sallam Lab" at the Faculty of Science, the Virtual Court and the Library at the Faculty of Law,  the Virtual Bank at the Faculty of commerce, She also gave an interesting lecture, about the scholarships offered by Kent State University for undergraduate and graduate students.
