Mansoura University maintains its position in the Shanghai Ranking 2024

According to the Academic Ranking of World Universities 2024"Shanghai Ranking" Mansoura University succeeded in maintaining its ranking in the 601-700 category globally, and second place nationally after Cairo University,

ARWU is considered one of the most powerful global rankings internationally for a long time. This ranking relies on several criteria that evaluate universities based on their scientific and research productivity as follows:

1-The number of alumni and staff winning Nobel Prizes.

2-Highly Cited Researchers

3-Papers published in Nature and Science*

4-Papers indexed in Science Citation Index-Expanded and Social Science Citation Index

5-Per capita academic performance of an institution

It is worth noting that The presence of MU in the Shanghai ranking for the seventh  year is regarded as a significant success because this Ranking is mostly based on the number of Nobel Prize winners, therefore Mansoura University competes strongly to remain in the top 1000 institutions in the world.
