Mansoura University Showcases Scientific Missions Utilizations on Visiting Scholars Day

The Graduate Studies and Academic Research sector at Mansoura University organized the visiting scholars Scientific Day In the presence of  Prof. Cherif Khater, the President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Ashraf Hafez, the Vice-President of Graduate Studies and Academic Research, Prof. Magda Nasr - Former Vice-President of Graduate Studies and Academic Research, Prof. Ashraf sweilam - Former Vice-President of Graduate Studies and Academic Research, Prof. Ashraf Shoma - Dean of the faculty of Medicine, Prof. Amina El-Nemr - Dean of the faculty of Nursing, Prof. Mohamed Abdel Latif - Dean of the faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Prof. Mohamed Shata - Dean of the faculty of Agriculture

Prof. Cherif  Khater pointed out the importance of scholarships and its benefits in developing  the experiences of researchers and refining their personalities, and the benefits it brings to the country through the diversity of specializations, which contributes to building Egypt and achieving its 2030 vision.

Prof. Khater stressed the importance of maximizing the benefit from the expertise of faculty members at the local and global levels, through effective communication that helps in integrating university efforts  .

During his speech, Prof. Ashraf Hafez  indicated that the value  of organizing  the visiting scholars Scientific Day lies in the need for young researchers to know the importance of scholarships abroad and the benefits and experiences gained, whether on the personal level of the researcher or the academic level, and to identify research potentials and projects that raise the capabilities of researchers and the scientific research system at the university .

For the efforts exerted to take care of the visiting scholars, an office for the care of them was established within the framework of the university's keenness to keep in touch with them and follow up on their performance and provide them with appropriate support until they obtain their academic degrees and return to the homeland.

The activities of the visiting scholars Scientific Day included a presentations of the experiences of the visiting scholars returning from abroad from various disciplines at the university, In addition to presentation of the General Department of Cultural Relations, and the International Relations Office ,Each of them highlighted the efforts of university  to communicate continuously with visiting scholars As well as making partnerships with prestigious international universities.
