Mansoura University Tops Government Universities in the 2025 Times Higher Education World Ranking

The British Times Higher Education World Ranking for 2025 has announced that Mansoura University has achieved the top position among Egyptian universities. It is ranked within the 601-800 range globally, marking an impressive advancement of 200 places compared to last year.
This ranking reflects the efforts of Mansoura University members over the past years, aimed at enhancing educational and research standards. Their dedication has elevated the university's academic reputation compared to its regional peers, confirming that the University continues to develop based on the latest standards for improving the educational and scientific system through international partnerships with higher education counterparts and the business sector.
The ranking incorporates 17carefully calibrated performance indicators, which are then grouped into five fields:
1. Teaching (learning environment): 33%
2. Research (capacity, income, and reputation): 33%
3. Citations (research impact): 20%
4. Society (knowledge transfer and influence): 6%
5. International Outlook (staff, students, and research): 8%
In this regard, Prof. Tarek Moustafa Galwash, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research affairs, affirmed that this ranking is a new recognition of the efforts made by the members of Mansoura University over the past years to enhance the educational and research levels, enabling it to beat several prestigious universities in the region. He added that the university continues its continuous development based on modern standards to enhance scientific and educational structures, with the efforts of researchers in various fields of science and technology.
