Meeting with Members of the International Relations Office

On Monday, October 14, 2024, Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President of Mansoura University for Graduate Studies and Research, met with members of the Mansoura University International Relations Office,This meeting is part of a comprehensive strategy to internationalize the university.

Prof. Ghalwash began by congratulating Prof. Marwa Hassan on her appointment as the Director of the International Relations Office at Mansoura University. During the meeting Prof. Ghalwash emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between the International Relations Office and related offices, as well as the Cultural Relations Department, to support the university's internationalization efforts, he also reviewed the current agreements with foreign universities in the United States, Europe, and China, and discussed mechanisms for evaluating the current cooperation with other offices (including scholarships, international students, and cultural relations).

Not only that but also he outlined the goals for the upcoming phase, which include increasing the number of agreements with foreign universities in targeted regions, enhancing opportunities for funding training and joint research projects, and opening programs that offer dual degrees. Additionally, he presented a work plan that involves identifying priority countries and target universities, preparing a list of priority research projects that could be funded by foreign entities, organizing training workshops to inform faculty members and researchers about how to apply for international grants and projects, and coordinating communication with targeted universities through faculties coordinators under the supervision of the International Relations Office, affirming the university and the Graduate Studies and Research Sector's commitment to providing all necessary support and facilities to the office in the upcoming period to achieve the its goals.
