This scholarship is administered by the Swedish Council for Higher Education (UHR). Application and selection process amongst admitted students to the Swedish Defence University is handled by the university.
Who can apply?
The scholarship programme is granted to the highest qualified students from countries who are required to pay tuition fees, i.e. not EU/EEA countries and Switzerland (in accordance with Regulation 2010:543).
Please note that only applicants in the current application round can apply for the scholarship since the scholarship is aimed for newly admitted students.
How to apply
Please fill in the application form. The form closes at 23.59 on February 1st. No supporting documents are needed since they are available on universityadmissions.se.
Application period
You may apply for a UHR scholarship starting October 16th 2023 in the application round October 2023 - January 2024.
Please note that you have until February 1st 2024 to submit your scholarship application.
The scholarship recipients will be notified a few days after the admission results on March 21st. We will only review scholarship applications amongst eligible and admitted candidates.
