The #MakeEUBlue Awards

The #EU4Ocean Coalition is organising the fifth edition of the #MakeEUBlue Awards, celebrating successful ocean literacy initiatives that demonstrate the vital role of the ocean in all aspects of life.

This year's theme aligns with the European Ocean Pact's priorities, shining a spotlight on skills development and learning open to all — from schools and youth associations to companies and academia — as well as innovative strategies to encourage blue careers and support long-term professional growth in the blue economy.

Winners will receive:
- A handmade trophy and official award certificate
- A €1,500 financial reward
- An invitation to the award ceremony at the #European Maritime Day
