Postdoctoral fellowships co-financed with the STDF

The French Embassy in Egypt and the Science, Technology and Innovation Funding Authority (STDF) offer postdoctoral fellowships enabling Egyptian researchers to undertake research stays lasting 6 to 9 months. Each fellowship includes a monthly allowance covering the cost of living in France, international transportation and social security. Each year, the program funds up to twenty candidates.

Eligibility criteria:

1. To be holder of the Egyptian nationality
2. To hold a doctorate degree that has been obtained less than 10 years ago at the closing date for applications.
3. To be less than 45 years old at the closing date for applications.
4. To speak and write French or English, with a level meeting the requirements of the research project.
5. Not to have previously benefited from another travel grant to France from the Egyptian government.
6. Not to be involved in another ongoing project funded by the French Government
7. The project must be included in the list of eligible fields

10. Artificial intelligence and computer science
