The Pathways Beyond Neoliberalism program offers fellowships to support highly qualified students from Egypt and the Arab region who are interested in pursuing full-time graduate studies at AUC in the fields of political science, public policy, global affairs, migration and refugee studies, sociology and anthropology, gender and women studies, economics international development, international human rights law, and journalism and mass communication.
Applicants should be committed to completing the degree requirements in a maximum period of four semesters. Given the mission of the program, our fellowships emphasize the critical content of master dissertations in the wide array of disciplines signaled above.
Eligibility
- Applicants from the following countries: Algeria, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Palestine, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia and Yemen.
- For new graduate degree-seeking students, they must satisfy the AUC graduate full admissions requirements.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum overall grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale or equivalent.
Award Coverage
- Tuition fees for a maximum of nine credits per semester.
- Stipend.
- Student services and activities fees.
- Medical service and health insurance fees.
- A travel allowance for non-Egypt residents.
- A housing allowance for non Cairo residents
