The Leibniz Institute for Educational Media | Georg Eckert Institute (GEI) is seeking a Georg Arnhold Senior Fellow for 2027.

This prestigious fellowship is designed to promote education for sustainable peace, with a special focus on educational media and curricula for secondary schools in post-conflict or transitional societies.

What does the fellowship offer?

  • A six-month research stay at the GEI in Brunswick, Germany.

  • A monthly stipend of €3,300.

  • Return economy airfare to Germany.

  • Administrative and publication support.

Who is eligible to apply?

  • Scholars in the humanities, political sciences, social sciences, education sciences, or law.

  • Practitioners with high-level international experience in fields like journalism, government, or NGO management.

  • Applicants must have at least five years of advanced professional experience in peace education and an excellent command of English.

The goal is to bridge the gap between theory and practice and translate research findings into practical recommendations.
