Times Higher Education (THE) Interdisciplinary Science Rankings Masterclasses

Times Higher Education (THE) Interdisciplinary Science Rankings Masterclasses

Responding to the view that the world’s pressing problems can be solved only with insights from a range of scholarly fields, Times Higher Education has partnered with Schmidt Science Fellows with the aim of developing new measures exploring universities’ contribution to interdisciplinary science. These measures will seek to improve scientific excellence and collaboration among universities, and to provide institutions with benchmarking data – rewarding campuses that incentivize cross-disciplinary work.
Learn all via one of our Masterclasses, chaired by THE’s chief data officer, Duncan Ross, as he will go through the following:

  • Why Schmidt Science Fellows and THE have partnered together for this project
  • The links between inputs, process and outputs in evaluating interdisciplinary science
  • The methodology for the ranking
  • The global and regional trends evident in the research undertaken so far
  • How institutions are submitting their data and how others can take part

This session will include a Q&A.

THE Interdisciplinary Science Rankings Masterclasses will be on March 11
