The Vice President of the University welcomes a large scientific delegation from the University of Pitesti, Romania

Prof. Ashraf Tarek Hafez, Vice President of Mansoura University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, received today, Monday, a large scientific delegation from the University of Pitesti, the largest universities of the State of Romania, within the framework of the European Union Erasmus+ program for Professors exchange.

The delegation included Prof. Maria Miroui, Professor Dr. Loredana Balilescu, Prof. Dr. Sorin Finau from the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the Romanian University, as well as Professors Carmen Andrea Burcea and Professor Ana Maria Nicolescu from the Erasmus Office of the University.

Where Prof. Dr. Ashraf Tarek Hafez welcomed the guests and reviewed the research and service possibilities that can be provided to researchers in order to deepen cooperation between Mansoura University and Pitesti University in Romania.

His Excellency also discussed with the Romanian delegation the challenges that universities and educational institutions face in light of the Corona pandemic.

The delegation was accompanied by Dr. Muhammad Al-Rifai, Director of the Office of International Relations at Mansoura University, who praised the fruitful cooperation between Mansoura University and the Romanian universities and praised their insistence on resuming scientific activity and academic exchange despite the current conditions of the global epidemic.
