These fellowships, funded by the DAAD and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) as part of the SLGA programme (Strengthening Advisory Capacities for Land Governance in Africa), are aimed at African scholars who have completed their PhD in Land Governance or a related field. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to sustainable land governance and management across Africa.
Successful applicants will benefit from:
- Financial support for their research activities
- Training in science communication and advocacy of research results
- Financial support for academic publications
- Networking opportunities to foster collaboration and exchange with peers and experts from The Network of Excellence on Land Governance in Africa (NELGA)
