Mansoura University continues its international achievements. On Thursday, December 5, 2024, Mansoura University announced that it has achieved the rank of "fourth" locally among public universities and "nineteenth" in the Arab world in the 2024 Times Higher Education Arab University Rankings, surpassing many prestigious local and Arab universities.
It is noteworthy that the 2024 Times Higher Education Arab University Rankings includes 238 universities this year and evaluates their performance based on five main criteria: teaching and learning environment, research (volume, income, and reputation), scientific research (citations and impact), industry (knowledge transfer and impact), and international outlook (staff, students, and research).
Prof. Cherif Youssef Khatir, President of the University, congratulated the Mansoura University community on this achievement, emphasizing the university's commitment to implementing sustainable development goals related to Egypt's Vision 2030 and the national strategy for higher education and scientific research, which aims to enhance international publishing and develop scientific research policies.
He also noted that this achievement and the advanced positions in various global rankings reflect the efforts made to adhere to international standards in various academic and educational areas, especially in scientific research and international publishing.
Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, stated that this international achievement reflects the continuous and ongoing development at the university, wishing for further progress and advancement for Mansoura University in all fields.
