Mansoura University Won the Third Place among the Best Egyptian Universities in Patents

During the events of the 7th International Cairo Exhibition of Innovation 2023 , Prof. Cherif Yousef Khater President of Mansoura University was  honored  by Prof. Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education, and Major General Hisham Amna, Minister of Local Development ,On the occasion of the university’s obtaining the third place in the patent index among the best Egyptian universities,

The attendees were: Dr. Yasser Refaat- Deputy Minister for Scientific Research Affairs, Dr. Mahmoud Sakr- Chairman of the Scientific Research and Technology Academy, a number of governors and  presidents of the universities and scientific researches, and a number of scientific and public figures.

Prof. Mahmoud Saqr mentioned that The evaluation of the patent  indicator was carried out with the participation of more than 90 entities, including governmental , private universities, and Egyptian research centers and institutes. It is noteworthy that Brazil participated in the event as a guest country of honor in the exhibition this year. Besides, the strategic partner Science, Technology & Innovation Funding Authority STDF, and the Russian United Institute for Nuclear Sciences participated in it. The events were held during two days 13th and 14th February 2023 at the New Administrative Capital.
