Nature Index 2020: "Mansoura University" ranked the 2nd in Egypt

The Nature Index 2020 announced in its annual tables that Egypt is the largest contributor to the share of research among North African countries, the second largest contributor among African countries, and the third largest contributor among Arab countries, and there is a noticeable continuous growth of its research share for the third year in a row.

 The annual Nature Index tables for this year included 19 Arab countries which is considered the longest list in three years, and Mansoura University ranked the second in the ranking of academic institutions in Egypt.

In this context  David Swinbanks, founder of the Nature Index said, “Mansoura University has achieved great growth and jumped from ninth to second place with a 165% increase in its adjusted research share, although it is based on 16 research articles, which is a relatively small number, but it is worth twice the number of its articles last year. "
