Mansoura University has achieved a new milestone in the 2023 Times Higher Education ranking. It has been ranked first among Egyptian universities and 18th among Arab universities. The ranking incorporates 16 carefully calibrated performance indicators, which are then grouped into five fields:
1. Teaching (learning environment): 33%
2. Research (capacity, income, and reputation): 33%
3. Citations (research impact): 20%
4. Society (knowledge transfer and influence): 6%
5. International Outlook (staff, students, and research): 8%
In this regard, Prof. Tarek Moustafa Galwash, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research affairs, affirmed that this ranking is a new recognition of the efforts made by the members of Mansoura University over the past years to enhance the educational and research levels, enabling it to beat several prestigious universities in the region. He added that the university continues its continuous development based on modern standards to enhance scientific and educational structures, with the efforts of researchers in various fields of science and technology.
