Researchers to Entrepreneurs (R2E) program is an online training workshops designed to equip researchers with the essential skills to launch deep-tech start-ups based on scientific research and innovative ideas. The program offers comprehensive, hands-on training that enables participants to assess the economic potential of technologies and translate them into marketable products and services. Targeting researchers in Egyptian universities and research centers, R2E empowers them to apply entrepreneurial principles, bridging the gap between scientific research and the market. By fostering start-up creation.
Objectives

• Equipping researchers with the fundamentals of entrepreneurship and the skills required to transform research into viable business ventures.
• Supporting the conversion of scientific research into value-added technological products and services.
• Developing sustainable business models to ensure the longevity of start-ups.
• Encouraging the creation of start-ups based on scientific research and innovative ideas.

• The applicant researcher must be working in one of the universities, institutes, centers, or research authorities.
• Holding a Msc-PhD degree.
• Having a research idea that is practical and applicable.
• Having deep knowledge in the technical field in which they work.
• Having deep knowledge in the chosen technical field in which they work.
• Commitment to attending all sessions (missing more than two sessions will result in disqualification).
• Ability to complete the required tasks.
• Submission of an employment Verification letter and proof of current employment at the institution
