Within the framework of enhancing international academic cooperation, Mansoura University participated in a scientific seminar hosted by Nagasaki University, Japan, at the Yeh Kuo-shi Exchange Hall. The seminar explored ways to utilize agricultural waste in developing sustainable nanosensors, which comes as part of the ongoing collaborative research efforts between the two universities.
The seminar featured a presentation on modern technical mechanisms that rely on nature-derived materials for detecting environmental pollutants. The event provided an opportunity for exchanging insights among researchers and students from various scientific disciplines, contributing to the support of research related to environmental sustainability and planetary health.
Mansoura University was represented in this seminar by Assoc. Prof. Mahmoud Hamed El-Maghrabey, Associate Professor at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Mansoura University. He delivered a presentation on green nanotechnology applications, reflecting the distinguished caliber of Egyptian researchers in international forums and contributing to the strengthening of scientific ties with Nagasaki University as one of its international doctoral alumni.
