Mansoura University achieves a new international progress in the field of humanities and social sciences

Mansoura University has made remarkable progress in the field of social and human sciences According to the Simago University Ranking report for the year 2023, as five sub-disciplines affiliated with the humanities and social sciences succeeded in obtaining an international and local ranking as follows:
1. Business Management and Accounting specialization in the 864th place globally and the first place at the level of Egyptian universities.
2. Economics specialization at the 837th place globally and the second place at the level of Egyptian universities.
3. Psychology ranked 1910 globally and the third place at the level of Egyptian universities.
4. Education  ranked 1668 globally and the fifth place at the level of Egyptian universities.
5. Geography, Planning and Development ranked 1191 globally and the ninth place at the level of Egyptian universities.
The Scimago Ranking is Considered one of the most important international Rankings, which is based on 3 sub-indicators as follows: 50% for the research performance Indicator, 30% for the innovation outputs Indicator, and 20% for the social impact Indicator.
This year Simago University Ranking included 5 sections: government institutions, health institutions, companies, and non-profit institutions. The total number of institutions in this year was (8433) international institutions, which illustrates the strength of the competition.
