The Graduate Studies and Research Sector at Mansoura University received significant attention in 2024, reflected in the attainment of numerous achievements across various fields, in line with the state's directives to develop higher education and scientific research, and to enhance the university's status both locally and internationally.

Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research, noted that the university made substantial progress in global rankings, ranking second locally in the Shanghai Ranking and third in the CWUR and US News rankings. The university also achieved a distinguished presence in the QS ranking, reaching the 951-1000 range globally.

Prof Ghalwash stated that the university worked to increase the number of scholarships and newly introduced degree programs, launching 10 new programs and granting 14 scholarships to graduate students. The year also witnessed the signing of 34 international and local cooperation agreements and the reception of 31 foreign delegations, reflecting the university's commitment to enhancing international cooperation and knowledge exchange.

The Vice President emphasized that 2024 saw significant financial support for research and projects, with funding for 47 competitive projects amounting to 12,473,005 EGP, in addition to publication incentives for 2,460 papers valued at 23,000,000 EGP. The total number of published papers reached 3,728, reinforcing the university's standing in the field of scientific research.He pointed out that the university provided support for researchers and advanced technology programs such as Turnitin and Matlab, and contributed 7,875,000 EGP to laboratories and research centers to enhance the research environment at the university.

Additionally, the university received numerous prestigious awards, including 54 state awards and 7 international awards, along with the inclusion of 61 scholars from the university in the Stanford global list of scientists.

These achievements come as part of Mansoura University's vision to support education and scientific research, and to enhance its status as one of the leading universities in Egypt and the Arab region.
