Vice President of Mansoura University receives Delegation from the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO) for Oncology Center Accreditation Renewal

On Friday, December 13, 2024, Prof. Tarek Ghalwash, Vice President for Graduate Studies and Research , welcomed a delegation from the European Society of Gynaecological Oncology (ESGO) to his office. This visit was part of the delegation's efforts to renew the accreditation of the Oncology Center at Mansoura University as a training center for gynaecological oncology surgeries.

The delegation was accompanied during their visit by Professor Dr. El-Sherawy Kamal, Executive Director of the University Hospitals, Professor Dr. Walid El-Nahas, Director of the oncology Center, Dr. Basel Refky, Director of the Training Unit at the oncology Center, along with several  faculty members. The tour included the operating rooms, radiology, intensive care, sterilization, and the surgery department.

This event reaffirms the status of the Oncology Center at Mansoura University, which has previously received presidential recognition for its pioneering role in providing exceptional medical and educational services.
