Egyptian students now have the opportunity to compete for one of the most prestigious international scholarships in France: the France Excellence Eiffel Scholarship Program, launched by the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.
The program, widely recognized as a flagship scholarship initiative, aims to attract top international talent to French universities and higher education institutions. It provides funding for Master’s and PhD studies in priority fields including science, engineering, law, economics, political science, and management.
Eligibility for Egyptians
Egyptian nationals are considered eligible applicants under the program’s international criteria. To apply, students must be nominated by a French higher education institution with which they are applying for admission. Direct individual applications are not accepted.
Key conditions include:
-
Age limit: Candidates must be under 30 years old for Master’s programs and under 35 years old for PhD programs.
-
Exclusivity: Applicants cannot combine the Eiffel scholarship with another French government scholarship.
-
Residency: Students already studying in France at the Master’s level are not eligible.
-
First-time award: Applicants who have already received an Eiffel scholarship at the same level cannot reapply.
The scholarship covers a monthly stipend, international travel, health insurance, and cultural activities, significantly reducing financial barriers for outstanding students who aspire to pursue higher education in France.
Deadline: January 8, 2026
