New Program at HS Heilbronn: A Path to Your Engineering/CS Career in Germany

Heilbronn University (HS Heilbronn) has launched a new program called ProfiPlus@HHN, specifically designed to help you transition into the German job market. This program, funded by the DAAD, provides company-focused qualifications and training.

This is more than just a degree; it's a comprehensive pathway. The program is built on four pillars:

  1. Preparation (In Your Home Country): Identifying and preparing interested students in their final year of study.

  2. Orientation Semester: An initial semester at HS Heilbronn that includes:

    • German language and culture courses.

    • Master's-level courses in your technical field (Engineering or CS).

    • Support in finding an internship placement.

  3. Optional Integrated Master's Program: After the orientation, you have the option to enroll in a 3-4 semester Master's program that includes integrated training and practical work at a partner company, creating a direct "path to employment."

  4. Lifelong Learning: Access to Master's-level courses for professionals from abroad who may already have an internship.

Who is this for?

This program is ideal for international students with at least a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science who want to gain the specific qualifications and practical experience required by German companies.

It aims to align your academic skills with the demands of the German labor market, giving you a significant advantage for a high-qualification career.

The program is scheduled to begin in the Winter Semester 2025.
