The MENA Digital Summer School is a seminar aimed at aspiring innovators from the MENA region, dedicated to advancing digital transformation. Through its 3rd successful addition, The program covers diverse topics and offers a specially designed curriculum that emphasizes the essential skills required to successfully develop and implement projects related to digitalization. Courses will be taught by high-profile lecturers from academia, applied science, and executive management. Moreover, field visits to communities and sessions with experts and leaders in the spheres of business, politics, economy, culture, academia, and media in Germany are offered. Eligibility:
Participants of the MENA Digital Summer School will be particularly successful graduate students and young entrepreneurs (Bachelor’s Degree and/or 3 years of relevant working experience) between the age of 20 and 40, who show particular promise in their respective fields of endeavor and have great English skills. Participants are expected to apply with a project idea for digital innovation in the fields of art & culture, advocacy & outreach, journalism, multimedia, education, civil society (climate change, agriculture), or economic projects. Applicants shall be nationals of the following states: Algeria, Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Palestine, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen, and member states of the GCC
