Assoc. Prof. Amr Awad Ibrahim - General Research Coordinator at Mansoura University

Prof. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of Mansoura University, announced Assoc. Prof. Amr Awad Ibrahim- Associate Professor of Chemistry- Faculty of Science at Mansoura University- as the General Research Coordinator in Mansoura University- for a period of one year starting from 16/9/2020.

This decision was released today on 16/9/2020 with No. (759).

Applying for this position was announced on 30/08/2020 on the official site and (21) applicants applied for it. (10) applicants were selected based on the announced application criteria, and personal interviews were conducted with them in the presence of: -

1- Prof. Dr. Azza Ismail Osman - Advisor to the President of Mansoura University for International Relations
2- Prof. Dr. Khaled Bashir Selim - Vice Dean of Pharmacy Faculty for Postgraduate Studies and Research
3- Prof. Dr. Ahmed Abu Al-Ata Mousa- Former General Research Coordinator and Head of Land Department, Agriculture Faculty

It is worth noting that Assoc. Prof. Amr Awad got a scientific assignment for the United States of America from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in 2104 for a period of 6 months, after which he worked as a researcher at the University of Virginia for five years. He was also able to obtain fund for two research projects in the field of seawater desalination from the research unit in Mansoura University and another fund from STDF for a project in the field of fuel cells

In this regard, Prof. Ashraf Tarek Hafez, Vice President of Mansoura University for Postgraduate Studies, Research and Cultural Relations, and all those working in the Graduate Studies Sector congratulate Assoc. Prof. Amr Awad Ibrahim, wishing him further progress and advancement.
